Canadian Citizenship Application
If you are a Permanent Resident of Canada and interested to become a Canadian Citizen, you must meet certain requirements to be eligible to become a Canadian Citizen. You must:
- have lived in Canada for 3 out of the last 5 years;
- have been physically present in Canada for at least 1095 days during the five years;
- have filed your taxes, if required;
- If you’re 18 to 54 years of age on the day you sign your application, you must pass a test on your rights, responsibilities and knowledge of Canada and you must also prove your official language skills,
In addition to the above noted general requirements to be eligible to become a Canadian Citizen, there are some other additional requirements which the applicant may have to meet depending on his or her particular situation.
